Faithful
2 Timothy 4:7
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful."
Luke 6:31 - "Do to others as you would have them do to you".
of time. When a person has been ill and really has a problem taking care of himself, others rally to help - for a short period of time. When 'we' are the 'giving' ones, how long do 'we' maintain a personal, caring approach to those who need the reassurance of friends and family? Not long enough,
I am certain.
Lord, help me live from day to day
In such a self-forgetful way
That even when I kneel to pray
My prayer shall be for—Others.
Refrain
Others, Lord, yes others,
Let this my motto be,
Help me to live for others,
That I may live like Thee.
Help me in all the work I do
To ever be sincere and true
And know that all I’d do for You
Must needs be done for—Others.
Refrain
Let “Self” be crucified and slain
And buried deep: and all in vain
May efforts be to rise again,
Unless to live for—Others.
Refrain
And when my work on earth is done,
And my new work in Heav’n’s begun,
May I forget the crown I’ve won,
While thinking still of—Others.
Refrain

Do you let others know that they are in your thoughts and prayers? Do you ask others if there's anything you can do to physically help them? Most of the time, those two things can immensely brighten their day.
Hope you have a blessed day. Maggie
