Pray for Those Who Work For the Lord

The following is an excerpt from our Pastor during a fast:

The Bible so clearly declares that there are certain offices that must be fulfilled in God’s present day church. Look what Ephesians 4:11 says, “It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”

I also believe that it is a mandate of heaven that we protect, pray for, and guard the team God has given us. Everything we do is about relationship. Look what it says in Matthew 26:31, "Then Jesus told them, “This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: ” 'I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered." He was prophesying His very future. We must protect the team.

You see it is the job of the priest to walk as intercessors and as examples of power. There was a fast called in Joel 2. It gives the role of the priests during the fast. Look what is says in Joel 2:15, "Blow the trumpet in Zion, declare a holy fast, call a sacred assembly. Gather the people, consecrate the assembly; bring together the elders, gather the children, those nursing at the breast. Let the bridegroom leave his room and the bride her chamber. Let the priests, who minister before the LORD, weep between the temple porch and the altar. Let them say, ‘Spare your people, O LORD. Do not make your inheritance an object of scorn, a byword among the nations. Why should they say among the peoples, ‘Where is their God?’"

You see during a fast we truly want God to use us to lead according to His will. I ask you to pray for (God's workers' ) health, finances, and for where God has placed them.

God Bless you. Let’s change a city, a nation, and a world for Jesus. Thank you for fighting for  (those who are) gifts from the Lord.

The only problem with priests nowadays is the fact that the name itself has been tarnished by many controversies and issues and they have also begun to be involved in political affairs, which is wrong.

We must remember that the team GOD has assembled or the priests and other authorities are humans themselves. We often forget that fact and worship them as demigods, which is wrong in Gods eyes.
