REPLY TO 'VICKI'
There is nothing I ever upload onto THIS 'page', or to any other 'page' on my website, with which I expect any reader to 'follow' or agree or disagree. As for the 'Guide' to praying for
this election, that is exactly what it is .... a 'guide', or 'suggestions'. HOW one prays is certainly up to each individual - one of the beauties of living in this country.
As for me, I will never suggest HOW anyone votes - also one of the beauties of living in this
country. However, if asked, I will quickly say that I stand for the unborn and their rights, and since this page is for Bible Study, here are some of the 'Biblical' verses - Scriptures - supporting my belief:
Job 10:10 - "You guided my conception and formed me in the womb."
Psalm 51:6 - "But You desire honesty from the womb, teaching me wisdom even there."
Psalm 139:13 - "You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb."
Ecclesiastes 11:5 - "Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things."
Isaiah 49:1 - "Listen to me, all you in distant lands! Pay attention, you who are far away! The Lord called me before my birth; from within the womb He called me by name."
Isaiah 49:5 - "And now the Lord speaks—the One who formed me in my mother’s womb to be His servant ....."
Jeremiah 1:5 - “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart .........”
Then, of course, is the Sixth Commandment: "Thou Shalt Not Kill " (Exodus 20:13).
Now, Webster's defines 'embryo' as "an animal in the earliest stages of its development in the uterus." You know, we humans ARE considered 'animals'. During the fourth month of pregnancy, the named 'embryo' begins being called 'fetus', but never the less, STILL a viable human being.
If you're Roman Catholic, the Papacy, the government of the Roman Catholic Church headed by the Pope, is very clear that human life BEGINS at CONCEPTION.
Now, to conclude, I SHALL NOT use this website as a 'political forum', just as I will not try to tell anyone how to vote, much less how to pray. However, since this IS 'my' website, I SHALL say that I will NEVER vote for any candidate who is not 'PRO-LIFE'...... period.
